“I’ve always loved animals”, said Blue Sky Dog Rescue Founder Donna Orman. “Needless to say when I would see a dog on the side of the road with that lost look about them, it would break my heart! One day I decided I had to try to help. My first two fosters were Bleu (who was at a local shelter and was to be euthanized the next day) and Skyee (who was about 3 months old wandering down DeSoto Road scared, hungry and very lost). Bleu is now living in Huntsville, AL with Sam (another Blue Heeler), and Skyee’s Forever Family includes 3 great kids and a big swimming pool which she loves! It was such a rewarding feeling just knowing that now they were going to have wonderful lives!”
